This testimony shows the power of God that is flowing out to people on the streets. It also shows the relationships that are developing as we go out every Friday night.

Out on the courtyard at Hacienda, I saw a large group of high school guys and I went with a few other women to talk with them. They were all from a football team in San Leandro. One of them needed healing from a knee injury and the flu. I prayed for him and he was instantly healed! His friends got very excited when they saw it! A few weeks later these same guys sought me out to ask for prayer for more physical healings—their faith being based on the miraculous healing they had witnessed and once again Jesus healed three guys with various football injuries.

On yet another Friday night I saw this same group of guys and felt lead by the Holy Spirit to approach them. They were pleased to see me and asked for prayer. The first guy I prayed for received healing for his big toe which had been injured. All the pain was gone—thank you Jesus! The next guy received healing for an injured ankle. All the pain was gone and he was amazed—thank you Jesus! Next was a guy with an injured elbow. Even though I felt the Holy Spirit’s power flow through me as with the others, this guy said he still had pain, so we prayed some more.

Tears started to fall down his face as Jesus brought more than just a physical healing to this guy. He was truly touched and was very grateful—thank you Jesus! My original friend in this group then asked for prayer for his ankle injured during football. He received healing and all the pain was gone. During our walk around Hacienda I noticed a young man sitting on a wall and felt the Holy Spirit leading me to talk with him. Unbeknown to me, this guy was part of the same group of football players. Through talking to him I found out that unlike the others, he did not know Jesus personally. So I talked to him about Jesus and then asked if he would like to know Him. He said, “Yes,” so I led him in a simple prayer inviting Jesus to come and live in his heart. He said he felt something happen but couldn’t explain it.

In all that night, there were 8 people who we prayed for who received complete healings and three who received Jesus and entered into the Kingdom. Two of those received the infilling of the Holy Spirit as well. I had arrived at 8 p.m. and left there around 11:45 p.m., very blessed, full of joy and in much awe of all that God had done. I was feeling like I had really only just started living—I was only now fulfilling my destiny and the call on my life—such joy!!

“Go preach the gospel, heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead and cast out demons.” (Matthew 10:7,8)
